The left windscreen was found near Cholsey, Oxfordshire, along with the windscreen outboard corner post fairing strip and some associated bolts. The investigation showed that 84 out of a total of 90 securing bolts of the windscreen were smaller than the specified diameter. Due to the effect of cabin pressure the windscreen was blown out when it overcame the retention of the securing bolts.
