Human Factors that affect our judgment of norms are often affected by the unwritten rules that are enforced by the group. In our industry, a typical norm may be not following published procedures or industry standards in order to save time. How many times have you been caught out on a limb because you did not follow procedures? Bad habits, which in many cases have become norms in our industry include:
